With SIOG 2025 now behind us, we are excited to announce the next milestone in our educational programming: applications are now open for the 2026 SIOG–CARG Research Masterclass!

After successful editions in Fribourg and Paris, the Masterclass continues its international trajectory with a new three‑day program in Tampa, Florida, developed in collaboration with the Cancer and Aging Research Group (CARG).

This intensive, hands-on course is designed for early-career clinical investigators, researchers, healthcare professionals, and industry partners who want to strengthen their expertise in geriatric oncology study design. Participants will receive:

  • World-class training in designing research for older adults with cancer
  • Practical tools and methodologies grounded in real-world study scenarios
  • Mentorship from international leaders in geriatric oncology
  • Opportunities to network and collaborate with peers committed to advancing research in aging and cancer
