Stakeholder Core
The Stakeholder Core, co-led by Roberta Carlin and Sherri Stahl, aims to integrate stakeholder perspectives into Cores and Programs and support the recruitment of older study participants. This Core will provide feedback on planned research, develop summaries, present at conferences, coauthor manuscripts and share study findings with their networks. The goal of the Core is to fill the need for bidirectional translations to and from the lab to clinics and communities and reciprocal interactions to engage communities and formulate research with relevance for researchers and affected communities.

Knowledge is power in the fight against cancer. So she works to continue that fight by assisting and sharing information with her community.
Le’Vonia M. Gourgue

Ms. Le’Vonia Gourgue is a two-time breast cancer survivor with over 21 years of dedicated service in community education and breast health awareness.
