ESI Committee
The Early Stage Investigator Committee (ESI), co-led by Dr. Traci Bethea and Dr. Randi Williams, will oversee the Career Development Core and support scientists in the Scholars program. Trainees and early stage investigators from each hub will serve on this committee and assist Scholars with any concerns or requests.

Health Outcomes, Cancer Prevention and Control. Dr. Bethea’s research focuses on environmental stressors underlying cancer health outcomes and aging, and how sleep interventions can improve outcomes.
Behavioral Science, Tobacco Control, Health Outcomes. Dr. Williams’ research focuses on testing methods for smoking cessation in the lung screening setting.
